Sunny Side Pumpkin Patch: Round 1

After celebrating Great-Grandpa Burger's 83rd Birthday, we went to the Sunny Side Pumpkin Patch located in Assaria. The Langley's joined in on the fun; we had a great afternoon of picking pumpkins and playing!

Marci riding in the big wagon; she loved it!

See how big she is!

Going down the big slide with mommy!

And, daddy too!

Three silly sunflowers; thanks Cousin Krista for holding M up!

The Langley's purchased a Giant Pumpkin like this one. It weighed 88lbs; according to their pumpkin scale Marci weighed 16lbs.

The perfect pick accompanied by the perfect smile.

Thanks Langley's for letting us join in on your pumpkin picking afternoon!

Baby Wildcat

Over Labor Day Weekend, we took Marcella to her first ever K-State tailgate and football game. The weather was perfect and Marci did great! She almost made it through the entire game awake, but did fall asleep during the 4th quarter. K-State came out with their first win of the season; it was a great evening to be a wildcat! But, her dad and I both agree that attending a football game with a 7 month old definitely puts a new spin on the "usual" football game routine; however, we survived and so did Marcella.

Family picture with Willey Wildcat!

Marci showing Frank and Carl the proper form for a one-handed chug; someday these skills may come in handy.

Tailgating with Auntie Suzanne Blakely!

Cheering on her Wildcats!

Her first official wave! During the 3rd quarter, the cheerleaders were in front of our seats. Marci lifted her left hand and moved her left hand in a waving motion. Yet another sign that has us thinking she just might be a lefty.

Getting her hat signed by Willey!

Go State, Go!

Good for another first down!

Nothing but smiles...this was right before she crashed and K-State scored the winning touchdown right in front of our seats. She didn't even budge with all the noise from the crowd.

Wrigley's Kisses

I would not be telling the truth if I said Wrigley doesn't love Marcella. I don't think a day has passed since her birth of which Wrigley didn't get a lick or two on little Marci's face. Some parents might freak about this, but it is just a part of growing up in our house. Wrigley has become an even bigger fan now that Marci has learn to eat with one hand and feed her and Nellie with the other.
