Last Friday, June 3 marked one week of "sleeping through the night" for Marcella. After her 4-month check-up, we decided we had a trained night feeder or so that's what our doctor suggested. Although many would disagree, the little pamphlet given to us at the appointment said 90% of all babies sleep through the night at 4-months of age, which is classified as 6-8 hours of continuous sleep. So we made the decision to begin the process of getting Marci to sleep through the night, which to us would be anything longer than 3-4 hours as that's the most she had ever gone. The first night was by far the hardest, but we made and every night since then has gotten easier. We also began feeding Marci one tablespoon of rice cereal in the evenings and what she doesn't eat we are dumping in her bottle. We are closing in on two weeks of 9:00PM-6:00AM of sleep and we are ever so thankful! Here are a few pictures I snapped of her waking up in her crib. Mornings are by far my favorite; she is always so happy to see us. I particularly LOVE the picture of her with her eyes closed as we have one just like this from her when she was only two weeks of age.
