We took a break from the Festival on Saturday and tested the waters at Kenwood Cove. With us we took our six Garber nieces and nephews as well as Aunt Summer Garber and Aunt Brandi Garber. The water was a bit too chilly for Marcella, but this didn't stop the rest of the kids. They swam, floated in the lazy river, dominated the slides and even tested their luck on the large lily pads. They even convinced their moms and Uncle J.D. to go down what we call the toilet bowl of Salina. While they all enjoyed themselves, Marcella wanted NOTHING to do with the water. She cried if her big toe even touched the water; however, we now know the water was just too cold as we have taken her, again, to the Cove and the lake and she LOVED it! She's now a natural born water bug. Here are a few pictures of her sporting her super cute hot pink on powder pink, ruffle swimming suit. She's our little doll!
